Galaxy looks to have star quality
Elusive Galaxy looked a smart filly when chasing down the well backed Majestic Dancer to make a winning debut in the opener at Leopardstown.
Keagan Latham held his charge up early before taking closer order before the turn.
The daughter of Elusive City showed a good turn of foot to launch a challenge inside the final furlong and grab Majestic Dancer (7/4 to 6/5f) close home.
"She's a filly we like and is very very smart," said winning trainer Ger Lyons.
"Hopefully she turns out better than our previous first time out winners, who have disappointed afterwards."
