Mystery Gal beats Manomine

Mystery Gal held the renewed challenge of Manomine to land the spoils in the four-year-old plus handicap over just under ten furlongs at Clonmel.
Chris Hayes produced his mount to head front-runner Manomine two furlongs from home and looked to have matters in control passing the furlong pole.
The long-time leader stayed on again in the closing stages, however, pushing Paul Deegan's charge to a half length margin at the line.
The 6/1 winner was making her fourth outing of the season and was a close third on her last run at Limerick.
"She has some bits and pieces of form and ran very well the last day but is still probably a bit raw,” said Deegan.
"She can go from a mile to 1m4f, is getting the hang of things now and I think there's another race in her. We'll go for something similar next."
