Finish takes Clonmel finale
The concluding Killahora Bumper at Clonmel today went to the Pat Cody trained For A Finish under Nina Carberry.
The son of Beat All tracked the leaders before improving to lead over three furlong out, eventually maintaining his gallop to win by four and a half lengths.
Afterwards Coday's brother Ray Cody reported "Nina (Carberry) said it was a bonus to win a bumper with For A Finish, as he is a real chasing in the making."
The win was, quite strikingly, Carberry's 23rd winner of the season already. Carberry has now ridden four more winners than Patrick Mullins at the head of the Amateur Riders' Championship.
