Fine Call wins Downpatrick opener
Jockey Mark Walsh partnered his second winner in three days when steering the Matthew Palussiere trained Fine Call to win the opening Tayto Maiden Hurdle at Downpatrick today.
The daughter of Milan raced prominently throughout before eventually producing her winning challenge after the last to record a length and a half success over Coliseum
Afterwards Palussiere reported “Fine Call had run well in two good mares' bumpers in England and jumped great on her hurdling debut today. I'll talk with her owner and jockey regarding future plans. That was also my first runner at this track.”
