Aasleagh Fawn continued the red-hot form of trainer Gavin Cromwell when claiming the DNMClub.com Handicap at Navan.
The 5/1 favourite came to claim the front-running King Christophe just inside the final furlong of the mile-six contest.
She kept on strongly, under Gary Carroll, to record a length-and-a-half success over El Tren who kept on into the runner-up spot.
The winner was recording her second win of the year having also scored at Bellewstown in early July.
“She was crying out for that trip on that ground,” said Cromwell.
“The last day in Down Royal it just went too soft for her.
“I'm delighted as Mick (Rowland) is local here and lived in Navan for years so it's great for him.”
Cromwell also had a winner down in Wexford earlier in the day with Allduckornodinner
Aasleagh Fawn also gave jockey Carroll a double as he landed race two on this card with Early Call
