Peter Fahey rates Rebel Fitz as the obvious danger as his Owega Star lines up in today's Grade Three Like A Butterfly Novice Chase at Tipperary.
Rebel Fitz is some way clear of all his six rivals on the ratings and has won his last four starts over fences for trainer Michael Winters.
However, he does prefer a sound surface in contrast to Owega Star who would prefer some ease in the ground.
While a little way behind Rebel Fitz, Owega Star is no slouch as he was a Grade Two winner over hurdles and scored over the bigger obstacles last time out at Listowel last month.
Fahey said: "He's not really ground dependant, but I definitely want a bit of cut.
"He enjoyed the step up in trip in Listowel.
"A nice novice chase in Leopardstown at Christmas is still the plan. He'll have loads of experience and I'll put him away after Sunday's race.
"I'm hopeful he'll run a very good race, but it's hard to be confident with Rebel Fitz running. It looks a race for second place.
"Rebel Fitz is rated 150 plus and was rated higher than us over hurdles."
