Explosive hurdle debut by Max
Max Dynamite (Ruby Walsh) draws clear of Phil's Magic at the last

Max Dynamite opened his jumping account in style as the French import made an impressive debut over hurdles at Thurles.
Eighth behind Intello in last year’s French Derby, the Willie Mullins-trained gelding was sent off an uneasy 5/4 favourite but settled the issue in a matter of strides between the final two flights.
Ruby Walsh’s mount quickened past the front-running Phil’s Magic, and went right away on the run-in to beat that rival by six and a half lengths. Sixteen Again was a further three lengths away in third with All You Need fourth, and this quartet pulled a long way clear of the remainder.
Boylesports have introduced Max Dynamite at 25/1 for the Supreme Novices Hurdle next March.
Mullins said, “He jumped and settled well. We thought he might be hard to ride but he worked out an easy ride and did it nicely for his first time over hurdles.
"Ruby thought he should go up in trip, I wasn't too pushed but he has plenty of scope."
