Gigginstown House Stud and Gordon Elliott completed a Downpatrick double when Dounikos extended away in the final furlong under Nina Carberry to win the End Of Season Party INH Flat Race.
A point-to-point winner for Elliott before joining Tony Martin, Dounikos came back to the Cullentra House handler since a second placing in a Ballinrobe bumper back in May.
Second favourite Bridge Native threatened danger as they approached the business end, but the Patrick Mullins-ridden mare couldn't live with Dounikos inside the last and eight and a half lengths split them at the finish.
Elliott, earlier at the number one with Gigginstown's Ballela Boy (David Mullins), said: "He's a big, honest horse and we said we would try and win a bumper with him.
"This is a lucky track for me, they look after us very well so we'll keep coming and supporting it."
Elliott was the leading trainer at Downpatrick in 2016 with 12 winners.
