Thirty-lengths point-to-point winner Kish Bank (4/5f) scored on racecourse debut today, landing Punchestown's concluding Irish EBF Auction Bumper for trainer Gordon Elliott, jockey Harry Swan and owners Gigginstown House Stud.
The four-year-old scored by an old-fashioned 'distance' for Elliott at Tinahely on November 19, and having changed silks from the Crocodile Pockets Syndicate to Gigginstown today, disputed the lead and fought off runner-up Seatoit in the home straight.
Elliott reported “he's a grand horse and to be honest I was nervous about running because he ran in a point-to-point a few weeks ago.
“He's a horse for the future, a big horse and we'll put him away now until next year. You might see him run in a graded hurdle or something but he won't do much this season as he's a massive horse.”
