Elliott completes Sligo/Perth double
Last Golden Ticket

Gordon Elliott completed a Sligo-Perth across-the-card double today as his Last Golden Ticket made a winning debut under Jamie Codd in the concluding Ladies Day At Sligo Races INH Bumper in Ireland.
Elliott's Borice justified 30/100 favouritism in winning the opening novice hurdle by 33 lengths at Perth and while Last Golden Ticket won his heat by 'just' neck from Sweettowatch it was a commendable performance to score on debut.
The son of Sholokhov is a half-brother to 2013 Cheltenham festival JLT Handicap Chase winner Golden Chieftain and following the race jockey Codd said “he’s a nice Sholokhov horse owned by a good racing man Michael Fahy. He’s a horse that is going to improve as he’s a bit greener than we thought.
“He was showing plenty at home, and should improve enough to go for a winners’ bumper.”
