Alan Fleming registered his fifth winner since his return to Ireland in the past season when his Bishopslough (9/2) landed the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Beginners Chase for his principal owner Barry Connell.
Ridden by Adrian Heskin, the son of Fruits Of Love stayed on strongly from two out to eventually easily beat 5/2f Lord Adare by 17 lengths.
Curragh based Fleming later mentioned "he's a nice horse for the summer and will run next in a valuable handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe."
