Eagle Terrace came with a well timed charge to land the spoils in the Formahoof Maiden Hurdle at Tramore.
The Denis Hogan-trained gelding went to post a 13/2 shot on his second outing over hurdles having been fourth at Tipperary last month before a spin on the Flat at Gowran five days later.
Donagh Meyler tracked the leaders today on the Gleneagles gelding before producing him to claim front-running stablemate Prince Of Verona at the last flight.
Eagle Terrace stayed on strongly on the run to the line to post a four-length victory.
Meyler said afterwards:- “He had a great run the last day around Tipperary when he wasn't far behind the favourite today (Burren Song).
“We knew he'd improve, he travelled everywhere, jumped well and it was just a matter of picking up the pieces after the last.
“He goes around these tracks so hopefully will be good fun for the owners during the summer.”
