Well-backed hat-trick seeking Dressedtothenines kept Zaidpour at bay in the two and a half mile Grade 2 Keelings Irish Strawberry Hurdle at Fairyhouse when scoring by three and a half lengths.

Tony McCoy was up on the Edward Harty-trained mare. He raced just off front-runner Si C’Etait Vrai before moving his mare into the lead two out.

Zaidpour set off in pursuit from fourth place, but could make no further headway after the last flight and the 6/4 favourite, giving 11lbs to the winner, had to settle for second.

Dressedtothenines had been 9/2 this morning and was backed into 3/1 before returning 9/4 at the track.

Tony McCoy said: “She did it well and travelled well. Eddie said she would keep going if she travelled well to three out. The ground is a bet better than yesterday.”

Edward Harty said: “She’s an improving mare and is getting better as the year has gone on. I knew she was decent last year, but she is progressing well.

“Obviously Willie’s mare at Clonmel (Annie Power) is a helluva mare, but she she’s the first mare to put it up to her for a few strides.

“It shows you how good Annie Power is. It’s great to get big blacktype with her and Im delighted.

“She’s done well for us winning three on the bounce including a Grade 2. She’s only a young mare and we’ve all next season to look forward to.

“We’ll discuss things, but going over fences might be an option.”
