Just three of the five who set out for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Hurdle managed to complete, with Dinons leading home his rivals under Davy Russell for Gordon Elliott.
Successful on his second start over flights at Roscommon earlier this month, the son of Balko was sent off at 5/2 this afternoon.
The even money favourite Sapphire Lady crashed out at the sixth when leading, leaving Dinons in front.
He was strongly pressed from three out by 25/1 outsider Percy Veer but had gained the upper hand when that one came to grief at the last.
The Tim O'Driscoll owned victor went on to score by thirteen lengths, with Causey Arch (13/2) in second under Paul Townend for Willie Mullins.
Russell said afterwards: "He stays well and the little juice in the ground helped him today.
"He has improved for a jump compared to his bumper form and Gordon will find plenty more races for him to win."
