The 50,000 euro Irish Stallion Farms EBF ´Ragusa´ Handicap is the most valuable race on the card at the Curragh this evening and the mile-and-a-half event race sees one-time Group One aspirant Highly Toxic line up for trainer Pat Flynn.
Highly Toxic contested the Tattersalls Gold Cup last year and while he finished last of the six runners then, he has been in good form recently and filled second place in the recent Cork Derby.
The son of Dalakhani had three of his rivals here in behind then and might be able to confirm placings, with the Willie Mullins-trained Renneti a possible danger having filled fourth place in last October's English Cesarewitch.
The opening Peter Keatley EBF (Fillies) Maiden sees Teofilo's half-sister Bean Feasa by Dubawi, take on 13 rivals.
Bean Feasa has not been seen since a fine debut second to Coventry Stakes-placed Psychedelic Funk at Naas in April but can be expected to take plenty of beating, with the Michael Halford-trained Rehana taken to give Jim Bolger's filly a real race.
The DoneDeal Apprentice Derby has attracted 16 runners and a fitting winner would be Udogo who represents brothers Joseph (trainer) and Donnacha (jockey) O'Brien. Joseph was champion apprentice in his time as a jockey while younger brother Donnacha currently leads the chase for the 2016 title.
