The John Joe Walsh trained Copy Print benefitted from bottom weight when winning the Faber Audiovisuals Handicap Hurdle at Galway today, under jockey Philip Enright.
The son of Blueprint, under 10st1lbs, improved to lead at the second last and battled gamely on the run-in to hold the challenge of Morga for a length win and his third career success.
Afterwards Walsh stated “Philip gave him a grand spin around and you can’t beat a bit of light weight on his back. The last day he ran he nearly had top weight and he’s only a small little horse.
“He’s tough and might run again if the rain doesn’t come.”
