Connell and Heskin go separate ways

Leading owner Barry Connell has ended his retainer with jockey Adrian Heskin.

Heskin had replaced Danny Mullins in the role in October 2014.

A decision on a replacement retained rider will be made in due course according to Connell.

Heskin landed a Grade One for Connell on board the Mags Mullins-trained Martello Tower in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival of 2015.

Heskin rode a winner on today's Fairyhouse card - Change The Rules for owner/trainer Aengus King.
