Jockey Robbie Colgan completed a closing races double at Punchestown today landing the last, the Punchestown Rated Hurdle, on the Gordon Elliott trained Noble Endeavor
The winner responded well to Colgan's (successful in the earlier handicap hurdle on Lean Araig urgings in the home straight and, having led after the last, recorded a four and a quarter lengths win over Aklan
Following the 15/8 favourite's win, Elliott said "I don't know if he's a bit green or a monkey. I think there is a nice race in him somewhere but the whole way around he's looking for gaps.
"He'll be better in a big field and that will keep him competitive."
