Clonmel rivals blown away by Party
Come To The Party and happy connections

Eoin Doyle has his horses firing on all cylinders and his Come To The Party belied a starting price of 16/1 when scoring in the www.grahamnorris.com Memorial Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel under Shay Barry.
Five times a winner previously, the Taipan gelding, owned by Doyle's mother, Pauline, was clear from before the last on the way to dismissing Baresi by a comfortable eleven lengths.
Eoin Doyle explained: "I thought he'd need the run again. He blew up badly at Fairyhouse. We'll mix it now for the winter between hurdles and chases." Caheronaun was the big gamble of this race, supported from as big as 9/2 in places this morning into 2/1 but she wasn't going to justify that confidence from a long way out and eventually called it a day before the second last.
