Chuck Quick Off the Mark
Good Luck Chuck winner of a Taylorstown point-to-point back in April, made a victorious racecourse debut when holding off Urban Gale by a head in the Martinstown Opportunity Maiden Hurdle.
Martin Ferris rode this son of Synefos for Shane Donohoe and he had to survive a steward's enquiry before being confirmed the winner. He caused some interference to the runner-up on the run-in but the stewards didn't deem it enough to change the placings.
Donohoe trains the six to one shot for Newry owner, Sean Maguire.
