Sr Cartage blew her rivals away with a dominant front-running performance to land her second success of the week at Listowel in the LM Carey & Company Handicap.
Kevin Manning had made all on the Sea The Stars filly exactly 48 hours previously and repeated the trick as she stepped up a mile-and-a-half today.
Jim Bolger 's charge had her rivals in trouble turning for home and galloped on strongly in the closing stages for a four-and-a-half length success. Cocoon won a good duel for the runner-up spot, getting a nose verdict over Greanta
The winner was a well-backed 6/4 favourite, from 9/4 this morning. The form of Wednesday's success was boosted yesterday when runner-up Snakes And Ladders scored.
"She loved it in front and won easier today than she did on Wednesday," said Bolger's travelling head lad Ger Flynn.
"The step up to a mile and a half was a big plus. She stays really well, and the ground is the key to her."
