Carberry and Elliott strike again with Millrock
The in-form pair of Gordon Elliott and Paul Carberry struck again in the Tom McCormack Memorial Maiden Hurdle at Kilbeggan wih Millrock Lady
Carberry sent the 6/4 favourite to the front going to the second last but she was soon strongly pressed by Tango Knight
The pair had it between them in the closing stages with Elliott's charge just holding the upperhand by three-parts-of-a-length.
"I'm delighted for the boys. It's a few lads from Trim that own her," said Elliott.
"She deserves that. She's been knocking on the door. We'll find a little mares novice race for her in England over 2m6f over 3m."
