Paul Carberry was seen at his confident best aboard Supercede in the Loughnagore Handicap Chase at Kilbeggan.

The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding cruised into the lead after the second last and soon had matters in hand.

The eight-year-old wasn't extended to win by 12-lengths from Westmeath Bachelor

"That's Carberry for you. He's some genius," said Elliott of the super cool ride.

"He's improving all the time and we'll have to get him out quick again. He might go to Ffos Las on Wednesday for the big chase there over 3m2f.

"We'll see how he comes out of this and what the story is."
