Burns back to form
The Robbie Burns trained Mahrajaan under Tom Doyle, came out best in a three-way photo finish to the Ballyhane Handicap Chase at Gowran today, defeating King High and Clarkey by a nose and a head.
Afterwards Burns revealed “I expected him to win and am delighted with him. My horses have been under the weather all summer but Mahrajaan did a good piece of work the other day.
“We’ll go for another handicap chase at Cork in a fortnight’s time.”
