Burke Has a Cut
Tipperary amateur, Martin Burke rode his second winner under Rules to go with his five in point-to-points when Having A Cut got the better of Top Twig by three and a half lengths in the Bushmills Hunters Chase.
Burke's previous success on the racecourse proper had been also for Having A Cut's trainer, Edward O'Grady, on Wright Flyer in a Clonmel bumper last October.
Having A Cut, by Supreme Leader, as is the previous winner, Casey Supreme now has form figures of p1p1. He was slightly lame on the first of these non-completions and his last pulled-up certainly shows the winner, An Siorrac, in an even better light. (EM)
