Bug makes most of chance
Little Bug made the best of the chance when getting in as reserve in the mile handicap at Dundalk.
Stable-mate Sheba Five was withdrawn lame and Noel Meade duly struck with the third reserve.
Fran Berry hit the front inside the final furlong on the filly and she stayed on strongly to score by half a length from the fast finishing favourite Impressionist Art
"I thought the other one would win but when I pulled her out to load her she was lame. I rang Michael Grassick but it was too late for him," said Meade.
"She's been unlucky here a few times and is entitled to win a race. She was placed three times here last year.
"She's in again next week, both on Wednesday and Thursday, but I don't know if she'll get in.
"We might send her to England. I have a few races picked out for her there. Liam (Queally) might keep her over there or that might be enough for her now that she's won."
