Getting just their third airing, the rather striking McGettigans Management Services JLT silks, were carried to success by Connor King, aboard 25/1 first-timer Emperor Bob in the Dundalk Stadium Racecourse Of The Year Maiden.
The Big Bad Bob colt is handled by David Marnane and here he chased the pace before getting to the front a furlong out.
Despite edging left inside the final furlong Emperor Bob went on to cosily defeat Arif (10s into 5s) and Alcatraz by three parts of a length and half a length.
"He had a bad draw and he'd not done a lot of work at home.
"He travelled very well but he was a bit green when he hit the front.
"It was a good performance and I'd say it wasn't a bad maiden," reported King. (AM & EM)
