The Bailey Horse Feeds Handicap saw a game winner in the Eddie Harty trained Pax Soprana when the Namid filly ran out a 1 ¾ length victor under Fran Berry.

Winning trainer Harty stated afterwards, “The ease in the ground probably helped but it’s not a necessity. Fran gave her an absolutely brilliant ride and we will probably keep her to here. We might drop her back to 6f to see if it suits.”
