Chris Hayes has been enjoying a fine recent run of form and having registered his first four-timer at Limerick on Thursday, rode his sixth winner of the week at Navan today on Bebhinn in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden, for his employer Kevin Prendergast.
The 11/8 favourite quickened nicely from two furlongs out to record an easy and impressive four and a half lengths win over Special Focus
Prendergast later stated "she ran very green on debut at the Curragh but has a very good attitude and temperament.
"We've entered her for the Marble Hill Stakes and her long-term target is the Heniz (Phoenix Stakes) at the Curragh. La Collina was our most recent winner of that race and she (Bebhinn) measures up to her.
"I'm hope to find one close to her but by far she's one of the better ones we have at the moment."
