Ballydoyle take the first at Limerick too
Jacobean and Seamie Heffernan win

As Ballydoyle's Aloft was helping Ryan Moore to record-breaking heights over at Royal Ascot, the County Tipperary superpower was keeping things ticking over on home-soil with the Seamie Heffernan ridden Jacobean (5/4 favourite), winner of the opening Croom House Stud Maiden at Limerick.
His accomplishment, equipped with first-time tongue-strap, in defeating Chenega Bay by two lengths, mightn't have been the most pleasing on the eye, but that'll matter little to the son of High Chaparral's supporters or connections.
"He took a few runs to come to himself, like a few of ours, but hopefully he has now and can step up to Listed and Group class," said Heffernan.
