Andy Lynch Fined at Fairyhouse
The Stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form of Ahorsecalledmolly trained by Mr Andrew Lynch, placed, second compared with the previous run at Tralee on 24th May, when the horse was pulled up.
Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that following the run at Tralee the horse was found to be suffering from a kidney infection, a fact that he had omitted to report as required by rule. Evidence was also heard from Mr. Noel O?Brien, Turf Club N.H. Handicapper. Having considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. Lynch in breach of Rule 213 and therefore imposed a fine of ?200 and reminded Mr.Lynch to familarise himself with the rules in relation to the running of his horses.
