Adreamstillalive extended her winning sequence to four when taking the Follow Limerick Racecourse On Facebook Handicap Hurdle under David Mullins.
The Henry de Bromhead-trained mare started her winning run in a maiden hurdle at Tramore on New Year’s Day and followed up in handicaps at Gowran and Naas.
She was sent off a well-backed 5/2 favourite to make it a four-timer in this two-mile event, and settled down to battle it out with Charlie Stout in the straight.
The eight-year-old mare just got the better of the argument on the run-in and battled on well to beat her rival by half a length. Jeannot De Nonant kept on well in the closing stages to finish a further length and a quarter back in third.
De Bromhead said, “She was good again and to win four is unbelievable. She was a bit immature and had a few problems, and ended up missing a year through injury.
“There is a novice handicap at Fairyhouse that she may go for and there is Punchestown as well. She likes a nice ease in the ground.”
