New Direction continued his rise up the ranks, winning his third race on the bounce, scoring under Kevin Manning in split two of the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap at Dundalk.
Adding to his course gains from a fortnight back, which followed on from a Curragh success on October 10th, here the New Approach gelding led from two furlongs out under Kevin Manning.
Jim Bolger 's charge again showed a willing attitude, sticking at it well to beat the staying-on Rock On Rosie by a length and three parts.
Bolger's travelling head lad Ger Flynn said: "He loves the place and, while it was a bit of a concern coming back in trip, he coped with it well.
"He was in the sales at Goffs last week and was bought back for €37,000. I'm sure he will be coming back here again."
