Jessica Harrington and Robbie Power doubled their Navan scores courtesy of Walk To Freedom s 20/1 success in the Grade B Proudstown Handicap Hurdle.
After the win of Jetz for the Commonstown team in the beginners chase, Magic Of Light represented them with aplomb when taking third position in the featured Troytown Chase.
Then just another half-an-hour on Walk To Freedom found more than sweet-travelling joint favourite De Name Escapes Me from the back of the last to prevail by two and a half lengths.
“All credit to Jessie as he’s been a very difficult horse to keep sound and had so many problems. Fair play to the owners their patience has been rewarded and it’s a great pot," said Power.
“This horse fell with me at the first twice and went out through the rail one day at Fairyhouse when he was going to win his maiden. He is a horse with a lot of ability.
“He has the option to go back over fences or something like a Pertemps Qualifier would be right up his street.”
