"It shows you what a bad trainer I am, all summer I had been dropping him in over 2m4f and we didn't really know what trip he needed,” mused trainer Philip Rothwell after his Wolfofallstreets scored under James O’Sullivan in the Templemore Handicap Hurdle at Thurles. Thu 28th NovPunters nibble at Charm as he scores for McInerney

After race at Leopardstown Sun, 1st Mar, 2020 (1st)
I thought the handicapper had caught up with him but I’d never seen him in as good a form as he’s been over the last three days. He’s like a horse possessed and has been in super form so it’s nice to come to the races and see it work out. Carol Hogan and Eric Newnham are super supporters of the yard so it’s great for them. There was a race for him in Navan next week but he wouldn’t love it heavy and I thought here would be the lesser of two evils and we got away with the light weight.

After race at Naas Sun, 26th Jan, 2020 (1st)
We’ve had a lot of seconds since Christmas. The horses are flying but they were just hitting the crossbar. This horse had a nice light weight and he stayed at it well. I thought he got too big a penalty for winning the type of race he did in Thurles. I was delighted with his run in Fairyhouse the last day and I thought the only way we were going to get another day was a light weight and go a good gallop.
