That's mine and the mare's second win and my first at my local track,. She is a hard one to time but has been running well lately and has a lot of ability. To get her on her day is the main thing. She is extremely versatile ground-wise but when you get her on a going day, is capable of doing that. She made one mistake but was winging hurdles afterwards and Dan was cool as a breeze - I've never me someone cooler. She is a great mare to have, is a pleasure to train and I'm delighted for Connie (Donegan, Ballyagran, Co Limerick owner). We'll keep running her away and hopefully she'll get another day.

That's my first winner as a trainer, I had a few point-to-point winners over the years but that's my first winner on the track. She's a funny old lady and Darragh (O'Keeffe) was the key to her today, to be fair. We put the cheekpieces on her the last day and they just changed her jumping, she jumped so much slicker today. She has plenty of ability but it's just a matter of getting it out of her. I'm delighted to get it. The plan was to go over fences after this, if she didn't do it today, but we might give her another crack at the same thing again. We'll enjoy today anyway.
