Reports in which Thunder Beauty (IRE) was mentioned
Curragh preview
Roger Varian expects Angel Power to improve for the run when she makes her belated reappearance in the Kilboy Estate Stakes at the Curragh this afternoon. Sun 18th JulGreat day in prospect at the Curragh with four Group Ones
The Roger Varian-trained Fujaira Prince and Joseph O'Brien’s Twilight Payment head a field of eight for the Comer Group International Irish St Leger on day two of Longines Irish Champions Weekend at the Curragh (round course, good, good to yielding in places, straight course good to yielding, good in places). A dry warm day is forecast for HQ. Sun 13th SepLee seals double on 150/1 outsider Chocquinto
The five-furlong maiden in the Curragh was supposed to be an ideal opportunity for odds-on favourite Na Blianta Beo to score, however, 150/1 shot Chocquinto ripped up the script and then some. Sun 26th JulThunder Beauty shows plenty of ability in Curragh
Ken Condon's Thunder Beauty went into plenty of notebooks after landing the two-year-old fillies' maiden on debut at the Curragh. Sun 26th JulGoing update and market movers
The going at the Curragh is now Yielding (straight) and Good to Yielding (on round course) after 5mm of rain. Sun 26th Jul
After race at Curragh Sun, 26th Jul, 2020 (1st)
We seem to have a nice bunch of two-year-olds, particularly fillies, and she had been showing up well in the past three or four weeks,. In the spring she was showing a lot of pace but just got a little bit of a setback. She had a problem with her wither and needed a bit of time. She's from a staying German family and, as Billy said there, it might not have been any harm that she had an enforced break for a while. The last three weeks she's been working nicely. We thought she'd run well but you just don't know for sure. We hope she's stakes class and she's by a very good sire. She has a very professional way of doing it and she went to the line strongly so I'd say seven (furlongs) should be fine. She's in the new Ballyhane race (at Naas) and that might be where she goes now.
