she is cheap now as she is after winning E25,000! She jumped much better today but is still cautious. They went very fast and she crept her way into it and she stays great. She'll have an entry at Kilbeggan next week but I'd say she more than likely go to Galway on the Sunday for a little three mile handicap hurdle — she just might get into it but it will be border-line.

Happy days. The monkey is off my back anyway!. I thought I was going to be second again with Le Braye but the mare sprouted wings. She never jumped a fence the last day in Wexford. She missed one early on, got crowded and lost her confidence. I will go back over fences with her, I'm not saying it'll be the next time, but I definitely will. I'll just put a line through that. She's well handicapped over fences but she just got no daylight that day. Before I got her she ran in 33 point-to-points and won a few. I bought her for two-and-a-half grand. She won the first day and she's been second since.

I bought her at Doncaster in January for 2,500 pound and she's done it well. She jumps a fence and she'll stay going for the summer. She wants summer ground. When I bought the horse I had no owner and with the name it dawned on me after a few days it would be ideal for a ladies syndicate. My wife Kiva got on to her friends and there are 20 in the syndicate. The only thing is they are going to be spoiled as that is their first runner. Hopefully they will have a bit of fun with her over the summer.
