Reports in which Lustrous Light (IRE) was mentioned
Easy for Max in Festival finale
With the withdrawal of main danger The King (change in going), the concluding Tote Qualified Riders’ Race was left at the mercy of Max Dynamite and the 1/7 favourite took full advantage in the hands of Patrick Mullins. He cruised to the front outside the furlong marker and wasn’t hard pressed to defeat Lustrous Light (12/1) by three and three quarter lengths. Willie Mullins’ nine-year-old, placed in two renewals of the Melbourne Cup, was winning for the first time since landing a similar event at the August meeting here in 2017. Fri 19th JulSt George returns in the Vintage Crop
Seamie Heffernan is relishing the chance to partner Gold Cup hero Order Of St George on his seasonal reappearance in the Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan on Sunday. Sun 23rd AprReview fairyhouse 10th Jul

Trainer Ger Lyons and stable jockey Colin Keane combined for a first-and-last races maidens double at Navan today when their Lustrous Light, in the Qatar Racing silks, justified strong 4/5 favouritism to win the concluding KL Construction Maiden. Sat 28th MayReview navan 15th May

After race at Fairyhouse Sun, 10th Jul, 2016 (1st)
I like him but he's not the finished article. He has a good attitude and Colin said he loved it out there in front.

After race at Navan Sat, 28th May, 2016 (1st)
Colin said he was only doing a half-speed. He's a big baby, was very green and was on and off it (the bridle). He went from thinking he'd win easy to 'oh Jeanie' and he then idled in front. I like the horse and the further he goes, the better. That was the next part of his education. I also like the third horse (stablemate Ex Patriot) and didn't really want to run the two against each other but I love this place for that type of big galloping horse. Hopefully the winner can develop into a nice stakes horse.
