After race at Dundalk Fri, 22nd Oct, 2010 (1st)
That was my first winner as a trainer. I rode almost 100 winners as an amateur jockey. I've only had my license for five or six months. We were hopeful he would find his form today as he won here last year. He's rated eight pounds higher on the all-weather than on the grass. We'll come back here again in a couple of weeks. It was great to give Ronan a winner too as he is only down the road from me in Monasterevin.

After race at Dundalk Wed, 18th Nov, 2009 (1st)
He worked very well up the Polytrack on the Curragh last weekend and we were hoping for an improved effort on his handicap debut,. He seems to like that surface. I told the owners to have a few pounds on each-way after he worked. He was a bit rusty early on but travelled well into the race and done it well in the end. He was a slow horse to come to hand and had a few niggling problems. He started to come right this year and hopefully he can go on from this. He'll probably come back here next week for a similar race.
