After race at Bellewstown Sat, 6th Jul, 2024 (1st)
He's won two races and he actually won this race two years ago,. He really needs the ground quick. He was second over fences the last day in Clonmel on quick ground and we said we would come back here hoping for quick ground. I was a bit nervous last night when the rain was meant to come and thank God it didn't come. He wouldn't have been where he finished today. It's great that a horse like him can get the opportunity to run on that ground which is important. We are delighted for Pat McCarthy, he's a great owner and a great man. He loves this horse. Great ride by Aidan - we just said cheekpieces on him, no nonsense and go on.

After race at Bellewstown Sat, 2nd Jul, 2022 (1st)
He did (enjoy the trip), anywhere between two and two and a half miles (suits). He did good work the last day in Roscommon. I'm delighted for Pat McCarthy as he is brilliant for the game. He couldn't make it today, he's gone to the hurling. He is sorry he is not going to be here. He's consistent, the horse deserves that. He's always bang there or thereabouts, so it is about time he won his race. Ground came right and everything came right - there was a couple of fancied ones there that came out too and the race cut up and it worked out well for him. We'll keep going like that over the summer. We'll see how he comes out of it and the next three weeks we'll see how we get on.
