Reports in which Duke Otto (IRE) was mentioned
Straight Home one for the Whitegrass Racing Syndicate
Willie Mullins' Straight Home defied top weight of 12st 4lb to land the qualified riders' handicap hurdle on Clonmel's card. Thu 24th OctThe Nagger Reidy strikes on handicap debut
After showing mild promise in maidens, The Nagger Reidy showed that his opening mark of 95 was on the lenient side when winning the Kathleen Walsh Memorial Handicap Hurdle in the hands of J J Slevin. Sat 28th SepDuke Otto comes from last to first under Noonan
Duke Otto (9/1 from 9/2 early) came from last to first to land the Two-Mile Borris Handicap Hurdle, following-up on a win at Tramore last month. Thu 02nd NovFlynn's Duke Otto gets off the mark
Carrick-on-Suir trainer Pat Flynn saddled the winner and the third in the two-mile handicap hurdle at Tramore with 9/1 chance Duke Otto, owned by the Duke Of Saxony Syndicate, faring best of the pair under Gary Noonan. Thu 12th OctSuccessive doubles moves Slevin to seven
J.J. Slevin is setting the pace in the early stages of the Jockeys' Championship and completed consecutive daily doubles today, steering aptly named Must Be Dreaming to win Wexford's Calor Gas Handicap Hurdle (div II). Wed 25th May
After race at Tramore Thu, 12th Oct, 2023 (1st)
Both horses are coming back from injuries and I'm delighted with the two of them. I thought they both had an equal chance. The winner is a right little terrier and he is owned by great people. He didn't mind the ground and Gary gave him a great ride. I also had a third in the Curragh (Whatharm), so the horses are running well.
