Connections of the Richard O'Brien trained Dean Street Doll may now cast their eyes to a possible Irish 1,000 Guineas bid following the filly's win in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) Maiden at Limerick today. Sat 27th Apr
After race at Limerick Sat, 27th Apr, 2019 (1st)
she has a 1,000 Guineas entry and I'm not sure we'd want to be bothering with that but Clive Washborn (owner) is a big sportsman and is a real character and he may want to take advantage of the entry and we'll let him decide. She is a lovely filly and Colin was pleased with her. It means a lot as the Clive is English based and has plenty horses over and I'm really glad we have had a bit of luck as we haven't really had any lately. She is inclined to over-race a little and Colin said to leave her at that trip for now. My daughter said to me on the way in 'Dad you haven't had a winner in ages' so that was was badly needed!
