After race at Limerick Fri, 23rd Jun, 2023 (1st)
that was brilliant for the kid (McHugh) - he is with me all winter and while he needs experience, is after gaining plenty lately. I had this race in mind for him when I saw the entries and saw it was an apprentice race. Kyle has had a few spins but they were on longshots and this is the first time he has had a proper chance. I could have put Dan King on the horse but thought everyone needs a chance in life and gave him the ride. He was a lovely horse for the job, we own him ourselves and is basically for that. I said to make the running but he didn't get away although he didn't panic and did everything lovely.
