Hazdann
He did it nicely. He just got no run in Gowran, but he came home very well that day. He's progressed well for the race, worked very well the other morning and I thought he'd represent us very well. That's what he did. I said to Chris that he would have learned a lot from Gowran, that he had a good draw and to use his experience. He's a lovely colt, a very genuine colt. Obviously, we'll look at a Stakes race with him next. We'll hasten slowly with him. You'll find he continues to progress as the year goes on. He's from the Harzand family so there is a nice bit of toughness there as well. It's a very important winner with the Princess here to see it.

she was just slow coming to hand this year so I took my time with her and hopefully the patience will pay dividends. Seven (furlongs) to a mile suits and she'll come on for it. She's going to be a fitter, sharper filly the next day. Don't be surprised if I go back to seven with her.

It was a workmanlike, battling performance under a very good ride from Chris Hayes. Regarding future plans, we'll see how he comes out of this race and discuss with the owner. That race will sharpen him and I think he will be better over further. The Melbourne Cup is a long way away but is in my thoughts. It is early days though and he has to step up. It is a few years since I was last in Limerick and while I have been fortunate to win this race a few times, it is always special as Martin Molony rode my mother and father's first winner, in the 1950s.

Adam Caffrey was having his first ride for me and I thought he gave her an excellent ride,. We've got some good apprentices in this country. James Ryan rode a winner for me on Friday night at Fairyhouse and gave the one there a very good ride and Adam Caffrey gave that filly a lovely ride. They are very promising young riders. He rode exactly as we thought the race might pan out. I think jockeyship is excellent. She ran an excellent race in Leopardstown and I thought on that run she'd be hard to beat today. All she had to be was the same filly to win today and she was, she reproduced it perfectly. She's a gorgeous filly, lovely attitude and a very laidback filly. That's probably her right trip, she's a mile-and-a-quarter filly. During the summer hopefully there is another one for her.

. The second horse got me racing a bit earlier than I wanted to but in fairness my lad put his head down and galloped all the way through the line. He stayed every yard of it. That’s my first winner for Mr Weld. He’s been very good to me this season and hopefully we can keep it going.

He got a very good ride from Chris Hayes and the horse battled well,. He got gelded in the spring and it put manners on him. It was an excellently timed ride by Chris and he just got home. I think that's his right trip, and on a level track. We'll see if we can win another one with him.
