Well backed McManus fav' wins Festival's first
I have the easy job getting these horses to train. She's a lovely little filly and flew around there. Hopefully she'll come back on Saturday,. said Bolger. She had a run here before in November, when she was fourth, and won a four-year-old point-to-point for John Bennett before I had her. The jockey on top makes things a lot easier too. She cut all the corners and took the shortest way home. Anyone who saw her ride at Liverpool - she pulled it out of the bag big time there and her and the horse were poetry in motion. We'll probably claim off this filly on Saturday. It's great to get the week going. Nina said she loved the top of the ground and we could keep her going during the summer.

Mullins - Douvan 'as good as we've ever had'
I walked the track last night and thought the ground was fast enough, especially the first mile, but he handled it very well.

Some Article completes McManus double
I was fairly hopeful after winning at Fairyhouse and he came out of that well but I was hoping he was still at the right end of the weights. The way he travelled through the race, though, I thought he had gone out of it - I lost him for a moment half a mile out and then saw him again just before the last!. Fair play to Slippers, he persevered with him and got him home and gave him a great ride. It's great to get that after promising so much in the Goffs bumper but lost his way and had some trouble. The Galway Hurdle would have to be in the back of our minds as he's a good ground horse.

Mullins' Felix Yonger wins Champion Chase
that's great for Danny - he went off the America the last two weekends and rode four winners and is riding out of his skin. He's riding full of confidence and sat on him and waited his turn, letting his lungs fill with air and come with one run - it paid off. He has the confidence to ride him like that and when the horse hits a flat spot ,leaves him alone until he comes right. They are a good partnership. they're calling it good to yielding but there's a lot more good in it. That suits him so I thought he might come into it and it didn't surprise me. He's a good horse and we'll probably put him away now.

Landrover winner to change stables next year
he's a very nice horse and Willie Mullins will have the pleasure of training him next year, I won't have him unfortunately. My job was to win a point-to-point with him and I get enough nice horses (from Gigginstown) so I'll keep the peace and say nothing!. he's a nice horse, wouldn't be the quickest in the world but he stays very well. He was very keen before the first day he ran in his point-to-point and, while I was debating about whether I'd put the hood on him today, I didn't want to take the chance (of not doing it) with all the hustle and bustle here. He's a very slick jumper and will make a nice hurdler next year. No doubt he'll win plenty of races.

Poli beaten but Mullins still bags G1 treble
it's nice to have a nice reserve and for a team like Gigginstown to have three runners (Wounded Warrior ran for trainer Noel Meade) in one race. He (Valseur Lido) probably just preferred that ground better than Don Poli, who it was maybe too fast for. I think Don Poli wants a longer trip - the Gold Cup is a fair long trip with the pace they go and this fella (Valseur Lido) could go anywhere also. I've always thought he was a fair horse and he's not too bad on his day. He mightn't have the same constitution as Don Poli but he's a nice horse to have and for Gigginstown to have.

Newcomer wins bumper finale at 33/1
they (Timing'severything's and Policy Breach) are two lovely horses; both are late May foals and I'm delighted they are able to do that at this stage of their lives. That's it for the year (for Timing'severything's) and he's only my fourth bumper runner.
