The Stewards fined Peter Maher, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Kings Red, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order. The Stewards enquired into possible interference after the last fence involving Enniskillen, ridden by Mr B.O. Walsh, placed third and Wish Ye Didnt, ridden by Mr R.W. Barron, placed fourth, where it appeared Wish Ye Didn't suffered interference and was forced to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that while interference did occur, they could not be satisfied that the third placed horse had improved it's finishing position as a result of the interference, and so they made no alteration to the judges' placings. They were however of the opinion Mr B.O. Walsh was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

Committee have suspended Rule 78 to enable horses which run in this race (excluding the winner) to retain their Hunters Certificates for the remainder of the 2014/2015 Point To Point Season. The Stewards have also suspended Rule 135 (iv) (c) and (v) for the purposes of this race.
