Alpha Male easily lands Bishopscourt Cup
They have to be jumped and I never thought that Enniskillen would have fallen (in the Ladies Cup on Tuesday). It doesn’t matter if you have a good horse if they can’t jump around. Enniskillen is fine and I actually schooled him over banks myself this morning and I was going to line him up for tomorrow but all the girls were crying at me. He’ll be back to fight another day.

Magic Of Light is so tough in mares handicap
Going to the last I thought oh no we are going to be second again. They have been running brilliantly all week but the ground has just been a bit soft for all of them and I thought it was a bit soft for her but she did it for me. She might not be the best but she’s very brave and she stays. Her last few runs have been a bit disappointing but she hates heavy ground and it was a bit looser today and I put a pair of cheek-pieces on her to get her travelling. Robert said she just didn’t travel in Fairyhouse and it definitely helped her as she was sweet all the way through the race.

Dortmund Park claims Grade 1 novice
He was bought to be a good horse and looked very promising. We had to put a tongue tie on him. He’ll be a nice horse to go jumping fences next year. It’s great for Jack. No more than myself he’s had an up and down week but its okay now and thankfully Samcro is alright as well.

Loxton strikes first blow for raiders with Berlais
He has been in training with Paul Nicholls and I work for Paul and I always train a few pointers. Paul asked me to pre-train him this year and because he was happy with me having him, he said to carry on so I was more than pleased with that. He is a lovely horse and we were fairly confident he’d be in the first three. It’s absolutely marvellous to have a winner at Punchestown. I’m originally from Kinvarra in Galway and met my husband on the Curragh before moving to England 30 years ago.
