FormscanBy Michael Graham - FIRST GENTLEMAN has posted two solid third places at this track and in Cork. Both of those races were on testing ground and he wasn't beaten far on either occasion. He should appreciate this slightly longer trip, and could improve for better ground and cheekpieces. Desert Haven was only a short head behind First Gentleman in fourth at Cork. He has been campaigned on slower ground since the autumn, but has some form on fast ground. Miracle Nation didn't look like a 100/1 shot in fourth on debut over 6f at this venue. There should be improvement forthcoming. Blue News has plenty of experience and has been placed five times. He is dropping back in trip, but did finish runner-up over 6f at Navan last summer.
