< Elyaadi is bound for Royal Ascot after coming from last to first in great style to reward favourite-backers in the two-mile Slaney Race at Wexford.
Given a super ride by Fran Berry, the 7-4 chance moved powerfully to the front over a furlong out and ran on strongly in the colours of Michael Ryan to win by a ready two and a half lengths from Hollo Ladies
Winning trainer John Queally said of the ex-Mick Channon-trained mare: "She has gone the right way for me and we've found her trip.
"We'll make an entry for the Ascot Stakes and she should get in after winning that. Michael would be keen to go."
Johnny Murtagh initiated a double as the Andrew Oliver-trained Anam Chara reversed Gowran form with Scagliola in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.
The grey had finished two places behind her rival in the race won by Boylesports.com Irish 1,000 Guineas contender Always Be True earlier in the month, but benefited from more forceful tactics on this occasion.
Murtagh kicked the 5-1 chance into a clear lead approaching the turn and she stayed on strongly to register a two-and-a-half-length verdict.
Murtagh also judged it perfectly as Aidan O'Brien's Irish Derby entry Yankee Doodle got off the mark at the fourth attempt, making most in the Barrow Maiden to justify prohibitive odds of 1-7 with three and a half lengths to spare over Sublime Talent
There was a desperately close finish to the Owenduff Handicap as Paul Magnier's Just Like Ivy held on under 10lb claimer Conor Hoban for a short-head success over the fast-finishing 5-4 favourite Clear Riposte
Hoban was riding his first winner, and Magnier is hoping the handicapper will not be too hard on his filly.
